Wilhelmina House leapt into spring by holding an Easter Coffee Morning on Saturday 24th March. The annual event was a great success raising over £370 for the residents’ social fund which will pay for entertainment and outings throughout the season.
Fresh daffodils and bright balloons brought the long-awaited spring season into the care home, brightening up residents and guests faces as they gathered in the van Hoorn Suite.
The raffle had fantastic prizes, including several huge delicious chocolate Easter eggs, luxury pamper sets and hampers. Guests and residents bought items from the second-hand book sale, Easter cards and homemade cakes.
Everyone enjoyed yummy sweet treats with their coffee whilst watching the Easter egg hunt in the garden for the children.
Wilhelmina House relative said: “The atmosphere is lovely at Wilhelmina House. The Easter decorations make it feel like spring has arrived.”
