The annual Wilhelmina House Christmas Coffee Morning was a great success bringing Christmas cheer to residents and guests on Saturday 2nd December.
The van Hoorn Suite was full of festive joy as residents, family, guests and staff enjoyed a variety of Christmas activities with highlights including a Christmas raffle, second-hand book stall and Christmas card sale.
Guest enjoyed buying delicious Christmas treats from the cake sale before tucking into a yummy mince pie and cup of tea.
Once again Nicola (Julia, the Administrator’s sister) was kind enough to provide live piano music. Yvonne said: “It was a very enjoyable morning. The piano music was lovely. The raffle was excellent and the staff all worked very hard.”
Father Christmas made a special surprise visit which brought smiles and laughter to everyone in the room. Audrey said: “The coffee morning was first class with a happy atmosphere.”
Resident Peggie said: “It was very well organised and a joyful time for all the family young and old. I look forward to the next one. Thank you all the organisers.”
Resident Avril said: “Very enjoyable morning, especially because I had my family members present.”
Thank you to everyone who helped us raise over £300 for the Residents’ Welfare Fund, and made the morning such a happy occasion.
