Whitgift House residents welcomed in the Chinese New Year with fortune cookies and tradition Chinese sweets.
This Chinese New Year we welcomed in the year of the ox. People born in the year of the ox are supposed to be strong, reliable, fair and conscientious, inspiring confidence in others. They are also calm, patient, methodical and can be trusted.
Residents and care staff watched a live stream from the annual parade in London's Chinatown and learnt facts about the event. The evening was completed with a delicious stir-fry.
