The annual Whitgift Care summer Garden Party season is now well and truly underway with two parties that took place at Wilhelmina House in June and Whitgift House last Saturday 22nd July.
The combined events have raised more than £1,200 to be donated towards the residents’ social fund.
Despite the rain and clouds, the Whitgift House Garden Party saw a packed-out community room come alive and filled with residents, families, and friends.
All enjoyed cream teas and glasses of Pimm’s whilst Steve Walton and his band saw guests take to the dance floor.
There were a variety of stalls, a tombola and the afternoon culminated in a raffle with many winning an array of prizes.
The next Garden Party to take place is at the Whitgift Almshouses on Saturday 19th August.
