Join us for a relaxing afternoon concert for clarinet, cello and piano with seasonal refreshments in the interval.

Everyone Matters musicians Margaret Archibald clarinet, Julia Desbrusais ‘cello and John Flinders piano presents a concert of classical favourites and popular items. The Whitgift House kitchen will be busy providing seasonal refreshments for musicians and audience to enjoy while relaxing and chatting together during the interval.

Advance bookings £10; entry on the door £15. All proceeds will go to Everyone Matters and its mission to take live music and music-making to people who cannot readily access it themselves.

Margaret and Julia met as members of the London Mozart Players where they worked together for many years as orchestral colleagues and presenting outreach work across the UK. Both greatly enjoy their collaboration with John Flinders who is especially renowned for his interpretation of the repertoire for clarinet and piano. All three have toured extensively in the UK and abroad as far afield as China and Japan and they can be heard on disc and in recordings for the BBC. Margaret set up the charity Everyone Matters in 2010, Julia is now Executive Director of the Countess of Munster Musical Trust and John is not only busy as a collaborative pianist but has appeared as concerto soloist including recently in the performance of a concerto written especially for him.
